The Dunehoppers

The Dunehoppers, from St. Augustine, have been a staple of North Florida folk festivals for over seven years now. Their tasteful blend of high energy bluegrass, folk and old time string band music make them a favorite wherever they play.

Leo Sheppard keeps the group grounded with solid upright bass playing while Kathy Zemanek, Mike Elias, Allen Hood and Bob Parsons add many different combinations of guitar, mandolin, banjo and fiddle. Allen Hood was a recent Florida Fiddle Champion.
