Hello,
Christ Presbyterian Church Youth Group will be holding a local food
drive for those in need at Ormond MainStreet's 3rd Annual RiverFest
Community Art, Music, and Food Festival on November 19 and 20, 2011 at
the entrances to Rockefeller Gardens and Fortunato Park (the East End of
the Granada Bridge.)
The theme will be "sharing our FOOD, sharing our
LOVE."
All canned and non-perishable food items (and cash donations) collected
will be donated to Halifax Urban Ministries local office on Granada
Blvd. We, like many others, think of those with food needs during the
holidays, but in reality, the need is year-round.
Adams Cameron & Co., Realtors' Offices will be making its offices
available for Drop-off locations for Non-Perishable Food and Cash
Donations in the event someone wants to contribute to the Food Drive,
but will not be able to attend the event. If after hours, leave the
non-perishable food items next to the front door.
